About
I'm Daniel Portugal, a designer working across product, visual, UI and brand. I co-founded and led product for Wabu, a peer-powered academic network that scaled to 120k+ students across Peru, Mexico and Chile. Today I shape the visual ecosystem for the UCLA Alumni brand — web, email, campaigns and physical spaces. Alongside that I run Daniel Portugal Music, where I write, produce and art-direct everything from album covers to a five-act immersive live show. I'm a native Spanish speaker and work in both languages, and I'm looking for visual or product design roles where craft and product thinking sit in the same job.
